I meant to mention this yesterday: yesterday was the 10th anniversary of the release of Planescape: Torment. Wikipedia even had Torment up as the Featured Article for the day.

So, open forum. Tell us about something cool about Torment, or how it's impacted your life. Or whatever.

One of my strongest memories of PS:T was when I went to Baator, set off an alarm, and had hordes of baatezu chasing me across the plane until I made it back to the portal. It really made me feel like "this is what it's like to be in Baator".

I can always remember completeing it the first time. Then deciding to do it again but stick to a Mage. I was quite suprised to realise that there were a heap of extra options available simply from having higher Wisdom and Inelligence.

I've played it a heap of times and i never get bored with it.

I remember it as one of the very few games I completed without cheating barely at all.

By barely at all I mean I still did the following:
1) Temporarily exploited a bug I discovered that worked out to my advantage, mostly out of curiosity's sake, in a situation where I was unlikely to die anyway and didn't want to restart from the savegame just on principle. (I was near the end of the game when I discovered it, clearing through an optional area just for completeness' sake).
2) Looked up a walkthrough a couple times where there didn't seem to be an obvious point to go next or how to do something and I wanted to make sure it wasn't a bug (as I'd seen a few in my playtime). While doing that I did stumble across information about things to ask in dialogues, etc that I used.

For me, that's something of note, since I generally cheat shamelessly in games. Mostly because I get bored after a while and just want to see how the story ends instead of repeating myself on battles and such until I win.

After I won it once more or less fairly, I did find a couple more amusing exploitable bugs, including one which made the final battle virtually impossible to lose if you used it (the first time I didn't even fight the battle, I won through talking, another thing that stood out in the game).
